Amarnath Yatra 2025 Registration Begins Today – 14th April


Amarnath Yatra is one of the holiest pilgrimages for Hindus, considered an embodiment of Lord Shiva and will start from 3rd of July to August 9th. Mode of Registration

They must fill in personal details like name, yatra date and mobile number as well as upload passport-sized photograph and Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC).
After their details have been verified via OTP verification system they must pay their registration fee of approximately Rs 220 before downloading their Yatra Registration Permit from this portal.

Offline registration for the Amarnath yatra is also available through designated banks and registration centres in Jammu and Kashmir. Pilgrims can obtain token slips at these centers three days prior to their yatra date and must then attend a medical check-up and collect an RFID card the following day.

Age Limit and Who cannot go for Amarnath Yatra


Travel to Amarnath should be undertaken between 13 and 75 years of age.
Pregnant women are not permitted to join, nor those suffering from serious respiratory conditions are advised. If it becomes impossible for any reason, pilgrims should consult their physician and request medical clearance prior to continuing with the yatra.

Before applying to SASB’s Yatra Yatra program, applicants are strongly advised to visit its official website and read through its guidelines thoroughly before registering for it. After registration is complete, participants will receive email confirmation of their permit and must then undergo medical screening at Saraswati Dham before visiting an RFID card center to collect a card; once completed they should return them at that same center to prevent misuse of personal data stored therein. Likewise, pilgrims are strongly encouraged to arrange return travel plans in advance – particularly those traveling with children, elderly individuals or persons with special needs.
